Zenlayer is concerned with the security of the data we have collected and utilizes reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to that information. These measures include policies, procedures, employee training, physical access, and technical elements relating to data access controls. In addition, Zenlayer uses standard security protocols and mechanisms to facilitate the exchange and transmission of sensitive data, such as credit card information, and has procedures in place to deal with any data breach. When providing infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Zenlayer may process personal data controlled by its customers located in the European Union/European Economic Area/UK/Switzerland (“EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland”). Zenlayer does not determine the purpose or how that data is accessed, exchanged, processed, or the classification of that data. Zenlayer’s customers are the data controllers of such personal data and are responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and Federal Act on Data Protection. Zenlayer processes data as a data processor at the direction of its customers in accordance with the terms of the MSA.
The provision of IaaS may, at the direction of the customer, include the transfer of customers’ and/or its end users’ personal data outside of the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland to jurisdictions which may not provide the same level of data protection as in the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland. The customer is responsible for ensuring that it has all necessary disclosures and consents in place with data subjects for international transfers of personal data that it directs as part of its receipt of IaaS.
Zenlayer may engage with third-party service providers and/or its affiliated companies outside of EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland in providing services. Zenlayer ensures that all personal data is handled, processed, transferred and stored in accordance with relevant EU/UK/Switzerland data protection laws, and that adequate safeguards and procedures providing protection to customer personal data are in place.
On occasion, employees of Zenlayer may have temporary access to customer content in connection with providing maintenance or support services to you. This access will only be accomplished by way of your explicit permission and instructions (as the controller of the customer content) and only for so long as the employee is providing services to you. As a processor, Zenlayer will not access the customer content for any purpose beyond providing you with support as described above and will not disclose it to any person or entity.

Various browsers (including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari) offer a DNT option that relies on a technology known as a DNT header that sends a signal to websites visited by the browser user about the user’s DNT preference. Zenlayer currently does not respond to DNT signals in browsers because no DNT standard has been adopted by the industry.

Information you provide through the Sites may be maintained on our web servers and systems located within the United States, or on our service providers’ servers and systems in other countries, including countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
